Project Description
Fat Larry's Kitchen Website
Retired chef, Larry Lisco (aka Fat Larry), has been cooking with medical cannabis since 1967. As a licensed patient, he has taken his passion for cooking and shared it with the world via his website, cook books, t-shirts, and blog posts. Larry's silent partner came to us looking to establish a brand and online presence for Fat Larry's Kitchen to better promote their cook books, t-shirts, and other merchandise.
Early on in the project, Fat Larry's Kitchen decided that not only did they want a FAToon™, they wanted it to be a part of the logo. So Bryan went to work on the FAToon™ while Jay worked with Larry on the concept for his logo. Once Fat Larry's FAToon™ was completed, the logo, book cover, business cards, t-shirts, and website soon followed.
The Fat Larry's Kitchen website was created using WordPress & WP eCommerce for the online store. The Fat Larry's Kitchen WordPress theme was a custom child theme created for the Genesis Framework.
UPDATE MARCH 2013
Larry Lisco contacted us on March 24th, 2013 asking we take the site down. Sadly, this portfolio page is all that remains of one of our best websites. This project was a lot of fun and we can only hope that Fat Larry's Kitchen will go back online someday after all of their disputes are settled.
