Project Description
Very Awesome Girls Into Nerdy Activities Website
Stephanie Payne of Las Vegas, NV founded Very Awesome Girls Into Nerdy Activities (aka V.A.G.I.N.A.) in October of 2010. Her mission was to provide an environment that cultivates and encourages girls of all ages to "embrace their inner geek and let it shine via community service, social functions, and individual endeavors."
In October of 2011, Fat Beard offered our WordPress Consulting & Design services to this awesome group as a way to give back to the Dorky/Geeky/Nerdy Las Vegas Community that welcomed us into it just five months prior.
The Very Awesome Girls Into Nerdy Activities were already using WordPress and had their own subscription to Elegant Themes Premium WordPress Themes, so we helped them customize the Chameleon WordPress Theme and designed a background image.
The Very Awesome Girls Into Nerdy Activities Website project is a great example of how we can help local non-profits and community organizations update their online presence.
UPDATE JULY 2014
VAGINA opted to leave WordPress for vBulletin in July of 2014. While they no longer use the website we provided, they still use the background we designed for them and we are proud of the help we provided them with for over two-and-a-half years.
