The Watching Dead Viewing Party & Costume Contest Returns to Shakespeare’s Grille & Pub
LAS VEGAS – October 2, 2017 – Fat Beard LLC is bringing their long-running viewing party and zombie-themed costume contest, The Watching Dead, back to Henderson’s neighborhood home-style bar and grill, Shakespeare’s Grille & Pub, for the season 8 premiere of television’s number one zombie drama on Sunday, October 22nd at 8PM. Shakespeare’s Grille & Pub is an open and friendly non-smoking, all-ages environment with over 100 beer options (including craft beers), a full menu of homemade British specialties, and gaming.
The Watching Dead is presented by Fat Beard and sponsored by Rogue Toys and Zombie Burlesque. During the season 8 premiere episode, fans may enter the zombie-themed costume contest set to take place immediately following the show. Fat Beard encourages any and everyone to come out dressed in their favorite undead, horror, or zombie-related costumes. Prizes will include zombie-themed merchandise, VIP tickets to Zombie Burlesque at Planet Hollywood’s V Theater, Shakespeare’s gift cards, and more.
“We love the fandom that goes along with this party,” says Steve Johnston, owner of Rogue Toys. “It’s a great environment and atmosphere for us as fans to watch the premiere with everyone.”
In addition to Fat Beard, Rogue Toys, and Zombie Burlesque the party will also include local caricature artist, Jessthulhu, who will provide couples and singles zombie caricature keepsakes throughout the evening for those in attendance. Everyone who attends will get one free raffle ticket and during the commercial breaks raffle drawings will give fans the opportunity to win prizes from Shakespeare’s and all of the sponsors.
The Watching Dead Viewing Party & Costume Contest at Shakespeare’s Grille & Pub starts at 8PM on Sunday, October 22nd. Fat Beard urges fans to get to Shakespeare’s as early as possible to ensure great seating to this 100% free party.
